Meeting with Staff: MOEA Union Minister tours in Kayin and Mon States

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung who is currently in Hpa-An Township of Kayin State together with Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung and concerned officials met with the staff at the hall of State Director Office on November 7th.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed the systematic utilization of budget allocation in accordance with financial rules and procedures. In implementing ethnic affairs tasks, the staff are urged to shoulder their duties within laws and by laws adopted by the state. The officials made clarification upon the reports by the staff and the Union Minister and Deputy Minister coordinated the requirement.

On November 8th, the Union Minister and party met with the staff from Mon State Director Office in Mawlamyine Township, gave necessary instructions and fulfilled the needs.

Then, the Union Minister and party inspected the completion of projects being implemented with Mon State Government Fund during 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 fiscal years at Ethnic Cultural Center, heard the reports by the Ethnic Affairs Minister and coordinated the needs. The Ethnic Cultural Center is established with the aims for public observation of traditional cultural arts created by Mon, Bamar, Pa-O and Kayin ethnic people in one place which will become a landmark of the state.
