Meeting with Staff: MOEA Union Minister meets with staff in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung held a meeting with staff  at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday.

In his speech, the Union Minister emphasized the need to carry out the tasks for promoting the literature and culture of ethnic nationalities in line with the prescribed law, while striving for socio-economic development of ethnic people along with the strengthening of genuine union spirit.

He urged all to abide by the law, by-laws, rules and regulations for the interest of the department and the nation as well. Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung also explained the global affairs and economic matters, urging all to serve the tasks dutifully with harmonious efforts.

The attendees reported on the obstacles and requirements, at which the Union Minister and the Deputy Minister coordinated the needs. During the meeting, prizes were presented to the winners at the 24th Myanmar Traditional Performing Arts Competition.
