Meeting with Staff: MOEA Union Minister meets with staff in Chin State

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang NawTaung who is currently in Hakha, Chin State, held a meeting with the staff of Chin State Directorate Office under the Ministry at State Government office on 21st February.

During the meeting, the Union Minister said that it is necessary to perform the duties in line with the law and by-laws set by the State. He urged all the staff to strive for the nation in their respective sectors in building the union based on Democracy and Federalism.

Next, the member of the Chin State government, Ethnic Affairs minister reported on ethnic affairs in Chin State and future plans, and the staff made general round of discussion. The Union Minister then fulfilled the requirements, and provided cash assistance and foodstuff to the staff.
