Meeting in Sittwe: SAC members meet with departmental personnel

Members of the State Administration Council Dr Hmu Htan, Dr Ba Shwe and Khun San Lwin together with Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung, and officials held with a meeting with State level departmental personnel in Sittwe on Saturday.

Chief Minister U Htein Lin provided update reports on regional situation, and the Council members discussed the necessities.

The Union Ministers and officials later explained the plans for development of Rakhine State, stability and rule of law. Council member Dr Ba Shwe called for cooperation of all concerned personnel for achieving development, rule of law and stability in Rakhine State.

During the meeting, foodstuff were presented for the service personnel. After the meeting, the Council members and party visited Maha Zeyatheikdi Monastery and paid homage to the Residing Sayadaw, donating offertories.
