Meeting with service personnel: SAC Chairman met with service personnel in Kalaw

The Chairman of State Administration Council Commander in Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the officers, ranks and family members from Kalaw station under the Eastern Command and gave necessary instructions in the afternoon on Monday.

At the meeting, the senior general said the main duty of the Tatmadaw is to protect the security and defense of the country, lives and properties of the citizens. For enabling to shoulder the responsibilities dutifully, all Tatmadawmen need to possess the physical and mental strengths. Regarding with the mental strength, there is an attitude to assume the duty assigned obediently. Balanced diet facilitates good health and the health is everything.

Tatmadawmen must always be in the status of battle readiness and disciplinary. For the convenience of daily needs and welfare of the Tatmadawmen and family members, Tatmadaw owned agriculture and livestock breeding are being carried out. During the summer holidays, the marine and air training for the youth will be opened, during the holiday period; the time should be spent productively by attending the culture training classes and other beneficial trainings etc.

Next, the SAC Chairman Commander In Chief Senior General provided foodstuff and the station commander accepted and the wife of Commander In Chief provided foodstaff and the wife of station commander accepted.After the meeting, the Commander in Chief of Defense Services Senior General cordially greeted the attendee officers, ranks and family members and fulfilled requirements submitted by them.

Afterward, the SAC Chairman Senior General, wife and entourage visited regional Tatmadaw Hospital in Aungban Township and the hospital commandant, Tatmadaw medical specialists and medical officers welcome.First, the hospital commandant clarified the implementation of military building tasks of the hospital, providing medical services for the officers, ranks and family members and local residents, preparedness for the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19, military owned and small scale agriculture and livestock breeding and welfare for the Tatmadawment and their families and the SAC Chairman Commander In Chief instructed necessaries and fulfilled requirements.

Next, the Senior General individually inquired the health status of the officers, ranks and members of militia who sustained the wounds during the serving the defense duties and provided foodstuff.Similarly, the wife the SAC Chairman, Commander In Chief cordially inquired the health status of the family members of Tatmadawment who are receiving the treatment at the neo-natal ward, conforted and provided foodstuff. Next, the SAC Chairman, Commander In Chief inspected the X-ray tharapy ward and cancer operation treatments ward and gave necessary instructions, it’s learnt.
