Meeting with Sec. of Russian SC: SAC Chairman met with Sec. of Russian SC

The Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official goodwill visit to Moscow, the Russian Federation, met with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Mr. Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, in his meeting hall in the morning on March 4.

Accompanying the Chairman of the State Administration Council the Prime Minister were the Council Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Council Member General Nyo Saw, Union Minister (1) at the State Administration Council Office, National Security Advisor Admiral Moe Aung, and Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation, U Thit Lin Ohn.

First, the Chairman of the State Administration Council and the goodwill delegation arrived at the office of the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, where Mr. Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu warmly welcomed and greeted them.

Subsequently, they held a meeting in the meeting hall, where they cordially discussed the progress and strengthening of bilateral relations, enhanced cooperation in security matters, the participation of Myanmar delegates in the 80th Anniversary of the Victory Day celebrations to be held in Moscow, and the invitation of Myanmar delegates to security forums.

Following this, the Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, conferred the "Sithu" title (Union Sithu Thingaha titel) upon Mr. Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. After the meeting, the Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister, and the Secretary of the Security Council of Russian Federation exchanged commemorative gifts.
