







Member of State Administration Council Daw Doi Bu together with Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htain Nan, State government ministers and officials offered the rice, cooking oil and cash donation to the Buddhist monks and the Christian religious leaders in the morning on 13th September.
First, the SAC member Daw Doi Bu, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and wife, State Minister for ethnic affairs and officials visited Thirimingalar Kan Oo Sarthintaik, paid homage to the Sangha led by the presiding Baddanta Kesava, offered 15 bags of rice, 5 tins of cooking oil and cash assistance, shared the merits gained and supplicated religious matters.
Next, the SAC member and Chief Minister met with the leaders of the Christian churches at the meeting hall of Myathida guesthouse in Bamaw Township.
At the meeting, the SAC member stressed the need to cooperate by the venerable religious leaders for the peace, stability and rule of law in the country and the religious requirements are being fulfilled as much as possible.
Then, the venerable religious leaders submitted the requirements for the religious matters and the Chief minister supplemented necessaries in line with the procedures.
Next, the SAC member and Chief Minister donated 30 bags of rice, 10 tins of cooking oil and cash donation to the different Christian churches. The SAC member fulfilled the requirements submitted by the religious organizations and coordinated with the departments and religious organizations.
At the 5 PM on the 12th September, the SAC member met with the members of Kachin literature and culture committee who are the organizing committee members for Manaw ground, arch entrance, Manaw pole, opening of manaw square and new harvest festival.
At the meeting, the SAC member clarified matters on the conservation of traditional culture, youth affairs, all participation in the process of prevailing peace, stability and rule of law, internal peace and the free and fair multiparty democracy General election to be held
Then, the Chairman of Bamaw Kachin ethnic literature and culture submitted the requirements and the Chief Minister supplemented for the matters to be provided by the government.
Next, the SAC member pledged to support the traditional Manaw festival concerned not only with the Kachin ethnic people but also all ethnic groups in the Kachin State and coordinated requirements with the responsible officials.
