Meeting with regional officials: UAG inspected audit offices in Taninthayi Region

The Union Auditor General U Tin Oo together with the officials met with the officials of Taninthayi Region, Dawei District and Township auditor offices in the morning on 12 January and gave necessary instructions.

At the meeting, the Union Auditor General said the office of the Auditor General of the Union is performing the task of financial inspection of government departments and organizations as well as examining whether those impact on the public interest and abiding by the law, rules and regulations under the motto of the office of the Auditor General of the Union “‘Developing and administering public finance management’.

The auditing tasks are being carried out in line with the relevant legal provisions, revealed effectively and reported.

The construction works that needed the inspection of real time audit should examine with the set time and report the important findings etc.

Next, the director of the Taninthayi Region Auditor General Office, Dawei District and Township Audit Offices In-Charge officials clarified the work implementations. 

Then, the permanent secretary supplemented necessaries and the Union Auditor General coordinated requirements.

Similarly, the Union Auditor General met with the officials and staff members of Kawt Thaung District and Townships in the district and gave necessary instructions, it’s learnt.
