Meeting for regional dev’t: SAC member meets officials, town elders and entrepreneurs

Member of the State Administration Council U Khun San Lwin met with Shan State Ministers, the State, District, Township level departmental officials, town elders, members of Pa-O and Danu Self-Administered Zone Administrative Bodies, Ethnic Literature and Cultural Associations and entrepreneurs at the city hall in Taunggyi on Monday afternoon.
At the meeting, SAC member clarified 5-Point Road and 9 objectives of the SAC and work plans for holding a free and fair election. He said the meeting intends to coordinate with relevant departments to solve the needs of education, health, transportation, social and economy at the Union Level if necessary.
He added that the State Chief Minister will solve the regional needs and the sectors that should be undertaken by the Union will have to be submitted to the Union level.
Then, the Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye fulfilled the requirements submitted by the ethnic representatives and entrepreneurs. Afterwards, SAC member U Khun San Lwin, Shan State Chief Minister and State Minister of Ethnic Affairs presented cash to the Ethnic Literature and Culture Associations.
