Meeting with Rectors and Principals: MoE Union Minister met with Rectors and Principals

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe met with the Rectors of the Universities, principals of Education Degree Colleges and Regions and States education officers at the meeting hall of the Ministry in the afternoon on 14th August.

At the meeting, the Union Minister said that universities, degree colleges and basic education schools are being opened and all teachers and officials concerned who are collaborating for the students to receive the educational opportunities are thankful and appreciated. As the examinations of the universities and degree colleges are drawing nearer, the tasks regarding with the examination are to be carried out in accordance with the examinations procedures, all are urged to help fulfil requirements for the university students to be able to sit for their exams, it’s needed to carry out for the educational development in unity by joining hands as per the Department and the relevant subject, as for the Regions and States education officers, the development of education sector in relevant assigned Region  should be implemented, the students and youth to be future treasure of the country, for being good-hearted, educated, humble, to preserve the culture of the country, have good morale and patriotic spirit.

Next, the Deputy Minister Dr. Zaw Myint gave necessary instruction and the permanent secretary and Director General also explained regarding with the tasks to be implemented and the Union Minister gave a speech of conclusion.
