Meeting in Pyin Oo Lwin: SG holds meeting at Defence Services Academy

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Monday afternoon met with faculty members at the Defence Services Academy in Pyin Oo Lwin Township.

In this meeting, the Senior General stressed that a good beginning makes a good ending and actions and activities to create a capable Tatmadaw. He also highlighted the importance of training to turn out good and skillful officers, reading habit and training programmes abroad.

Cadets need to live and act with the spirit of youth leadership upon completion of the course. Officers need to partially contribute to the state by carrying out the national duties wholeheartedly. Cadets need to be trained to have good habits of thinking fundamentally.

Instructors themselves need to be role models. Only when the cadets are properly trained, will they be able to carry out their duties on the battlefield and to act with reason and courage. The Senior General also stressed the importance of systematic training.
