Meeting with PRC VP: PM U Nyo Saw met with PRC VP in Nanning

The Prime Minister U Nyo Saw who is in Nanning of China, met with Mr. Han Zheng , the Vice President of the People's Republic of China, at the Liyuan State Guesthouse in Nanning in the evening on September 16.

During the meeting, they held a friendly and open discussion on the matters including continuing to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance socio-economic development for the people of both countries, increasing trade and investment, which are mutually beneficial, collaborating to combat cross-border crimes such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, and online fraud, China's continued support for humanitarian efforts including aid for the Mandalay earthquake.

Accompanying the Prime Minister were Union Ministers Dr. Charlie Than, U Chit Swe, and Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, Myanmar Ambassador to China U Tin Maung Swe and other officials.

The Vice President was joined by Mr. Chen Gang , Party Secretary of the Guangxi Zhuang  Autonomous Region CPC, Mr. Wei Tao , the Governor, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Ma Jia and other officials. In the evening, the Prime Minister attended a gala dinner for the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, along with heads of state from ASEAN and other invited countries.
