Meeting with people’s militias: Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman met with people’s militias

The event of meeting with Nay Pyi Taw Lewe Township People’s Militias was held at the office of Dakkhinathiri Township General Administration Department in the morning on 13th August and attended by Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo and Council members, Senior military officials, Region/District/Township departmental officials and members of People’s Militias.

First, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman gave a remark saying that as all citizens have a responsibility for the Defense of “three our causes”, every citizen need to learn military science and skills in Defense of the country, the members of People’s Militias who are protecting and defending the interest, lives and properties of the people by joining hands with the Tatmadaw and Myanmar Police Force with the patriotic spirit for the security of the country and the Region are respected and honored.

Next, the attendees reported the requirements and the Council Chairman coordinated.

Then, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, Chief of Staff of Nay Pyi Taw Command Col. Kyaw Soe Moe and Nay Pyi Taw Council member Col. Ye Moe provided foodstuff to the members of People’s Militias and the council Chairman U Than Tun Oo cordially greeted the members of People’s Militias.

In the afternoon, Chairman of the Committee for Reviewing and Scrutinizing Confiscated farmland and other lands in Nay Pyi Taw, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo attended the coordination meeting of the Committee held at the Nay Pyi Taw Council office.

In his opening remark, Committee Chairman urged the committee members to make effort for the development of long-term interest of the country and the people in accordance with the law, principles, procedures and directives in the implementation of the tasks of the Committee for Reviewing and Scrutinizing Confiscated farmland and other lands. 

Next, the Committee joint-secretary, departmental officials and Chairmen of District Administration body clarified the work implementation of the Committee, ongoing tasks and works to be carried out.

After that, Chairman of the Committee for Reviewing and Scrutinizing Confiscated farmland and other lands in Nay Pyi Taw, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo gave supplemented discussion regarding with the reports and clarifications and gave a speech of conclusion.
