Meeting with Peace Delegations: 4th day meeting concluded and final agreements signed

The State Peace Talks Team met with the peace delegations led by the chairman of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO Khun Thurein, Chair of the Lahu Democratic Union-LDU Kyar Solomon and Vice-Chair of the Arakan Liberation Party-ALP Saw Mra Razar Lin separately at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre’s meeting hall on the morning of 26August.

Next, the State Peace Talks Team continued its fourth-day meeting with the peace delegation of PNLO, LDU and ALP at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre’s meeting hall.

SAC member Union Minister at the Union Government Office Chairman of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Team Member SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung, committee members: Lt-Gen Min Naing, Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein and Lt-Gen Aye Win, and Chairman Khun Thurein and Vice-Chairman Khun Tun Tin of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO, Lahu Democratic Union-LDU Chairman Kyar Solomon and General Secretary Kyar Ya Kok, Arakan Liberation Party-ALP Vice-Chairperson Saw Mra Raza Lin and Member of the Central Executive Committee Khine Soe Mra participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, on the opinions of both sides according to the coordinated discussions during the 4 days period, the repeated discussion was conducted and the final agreements were signed.

Then, chairman of the Pa-O National Liberation Organization-PNLO Khun Thurein on behalf of the attendees of EAOs and the leader of State Peace Talks Team Lt. Gen. Yar Pyae gave speeches of conclusion and a book of the State Administration Council’s efforts for the interests of the country, book on coalition politics, MRTV DTH Receiver, 2 feet satellite dishes and gifts were presented.
