Meeting in Padaung: Acting President meets with personnel and townselders

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with departmental personnel and townelders in Padaung of Bago Region on Thursday to discuss the regional development works.

Bago Region Chief Minister reported on the implementation of development works and preparation for the election. Attendees also reported on the strategic location of Padaung, and their active participation in the general election. The Union Ministers explained the development undertakings in the region.

The Acting President discussed that cultivation of high quality paddy, oil crops and cotton as well as engaging in the livestock farming, nurturing human resources needed for the sectors through education promotion programs. He also stressed the government's efforts for successful holding of the multi-party democracy general election, electing the candidates who could serve for the interest of the region and the nation as a whole.

After the meeting, the Acting President viewed the display of MSME products and gave necessary instructions.
