Meeting with owners of Wrexham AFC and Powerchair football participants

King Charles III met the owners of Wrexham A.F.C. Friday - Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney along with participants from Powerchair football, a team sport for electric wheelchair-users.The Hollywood actors spoke with the king and Queen Consort on the pitch before introducing them to the soccer team and posing for photographs.

Reynolds and McElhenney bought the club, which is the oldest team in Wales. Charles and Camilla were in Wrexham to formally confer city status on the former town, and stopped by the soccer club as part of their visit.
