Meeting with officials: SAC Chairman met with Shan State Gov. members

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the members of Shan State government, State and District level departmental officials at the City Hall of Taunggyi Township in the morning on September 3rd and delivered a speech.

First, the State Chief Minister reported the data of the Region, implementation of agriculture and livestock breeding, production of commodities, MSME development, enhancement of education and health sectors, upgrading of sports facilities, opening of libraries, providing assistance for the temporary displaced people from their Region due to the acts of terrorists and upgrading of road transportation. Regarding with the clarification, SAC member Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant and Deputy ministers for Agriculture, livestock and Irrigation replied with reciprocated discussions.

In his remark, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister said that this trip is taken to instruct the requirements in the implementation for the development of Shan state and coordinate necessary matters. The SAC Chairman related the causes led to the present situations, the attempts of some EAO opportunists to expand controlled area during the political crisis in the country, local residents who have to displace leaving their homes and properties due to the acts of terrorists, the nasty acts of armed insurgents to protect from the counter-strike and their subversive acts etc.

The SAC Chairman pointed out the economic situations in the country, difficulties for the easy availability of fuel and cooking oil, efforts for the enhancement of agriculture, education and health sectors, public security system with the collaboration of local security contributors, members of Police Force and persons from administrative sectors etc.

After the meeting, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and members of entourage cordially greeted the attendees. Next, the SAC Chairman and party visited Shwe Phone Pwint pagoda, offered flower, water and oil lamp to the pagoda and paid homage to the pagoda circling in clockwise direction.

Then, they viewed the sceneries of Taunggyi Township from the View Point on the pagoda platform and instructed necessary matters to the responsible officials.And the, SAC Chairman donated cash for the renovation of the pagoda and the members of the pagoda board of trustee, it’s learnt.
