The Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance, U Win Shein, along with deputy ministers and relevant departmental officials, held a meeting at the Union Minister's office in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday to quickly clear the damaged office spaces, gather and secure important documents, compile lists of personnel currently on-site according to the latest situation, and communicate with nearby offices to convey information promptly.

They discussed fulfilling necessary requirements and expediting the establishment of temporary camps in suitable locations, as well as ensuring that emergency matters are handled in a timely manner by using generators in a situation inaccessible electricity.

Following this, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister visited a staff member from the Pension Department receiving medical treatment at the Naypyidaw 1000-bed Tatmadaw Hospital, offering words of encouragement and ensuring that necessary support was provided.

They also proceeded to the national archive center to facilitate office operations and review potential locations for the opening of temporary camps in an organized manner. It has been reported that the deputy ministers and department heads are actively involved in rescue operations at the offices of staff members affected by the earthquake, overseeing the arrangements for living conditions, food supplies, and access to clean water, and addressing all necessary administrative matters.
