




Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn emphasized the importance of continuous learning for staff members to improve the skills and competencies in this evolving technological era at the meeting with 20 officer trainees from Chin, Rakhine, Shan states, Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing, Bago, Magway, Mandalay, Yangon, Ayeyawady regions on 28th October.
The Union Minister highlighted the need for the staff, especially those who interact closely with the public, to cultivate progressive thinking and a positive mindset. He stressed that staff should strive consistently to carry out the department's functions effectively and improve their performance.
He also encouraged them to share knowledge with junior colleagues and to explore innovative ideas to enhance their work. Additionally, he urged efforts to advance the development of libraries and promote reading habit as part of their commitment to self-improvement and public service.
The opening ceremony for the Information and Public Relations Department’s Capacity Enhancement Training Course (2/2024) was attended by permanent secretary U Win Kyaw Aung, department heads, officials, and trainees.
