Meeting with Myanmar Workers: MoL UM met with Myanmar migrant workers in Lao PDR

Myanmar delegation led by the Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung who is currently in Lao People’s Democratic Republic for the collaboration in labour affairs between Myanmar and Lao together with Myanmar Ambassador to Lao U Aung Ko and Deputy Minister for Labour and Social Welfare of Lao PDR Mr. Phongxaysack Inthalath, visited Best Garment (Laos) and Honor Home (Laos) Sole Limited in Saysetha Development Zone of Vientiane, Lao PDR on 23rd October.

The Union Minister and party viewed around the factories, met with Myanmar workers, stated to adhere traditions, customs and culture of the host country, promulgated laws and local rules and regulations, keep solidarity among the citizens of own country and care for good health and elaborated the status of cooperation between the two governments for fully obtaining the rights of migrant workers contained in the enacted law and remittance of earnings to the family through the official channel and presented memorable gifts of Thadingyut to the workers.
