Meeting with MSMEs: Bago Region CM gave guiding encouragement

The Chief Minister of Bago Region U Myo Swe Win gave a guiding encouragement to accelerate the production of value-added products from the local products producing in traditional ways to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pyay District held in the morning on October 7 at Construction (2) Guesthouse in Pyay Township.

First, the chief minister said that Pyay district has the abundant sources of food, crops and clothing and has gained the high percentage of domestic market share. Although the product quality is acceptable, some local products are still at a level of traditional producing and needed to upgrade.

The products cannot be a value-added products focusing only on the quality but with the new attractive packaging, the decent price of the product will be earned. The state is implementing arrangements for the economic development in Pyay District.

Pyay region already has the good potentials for the arrivals of local and international visitors. The local products are needed to upgrade as high quality products etc.

Next, the entrepreneurs of micro small and medium enterprises in Pyay District clarified the production of each product and the efforts to upgrade the packaging system and the chief minister coordinated with the relevant departments for the requirements, it’s reported.
