Meeting at MOI: Clarification on satellite technology services

Officials of China Rocket Co. Ltd which is jointly undertaking with Borderless Broadcast Co. Ltd made clarification on satellite technology services to the Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn at the Ministry of Information on Tuesday.

At the event, Union Minister expressed thanks for the explanation of China Rocket Co. Ltd that is one of the high-tech companies from China on the satellite technology services and would like to cooperate in the tasks.

Chairman of China Rocket Co., Ltd Mr ZHANG DONG and officials reported on the services of the company including the satellite technology services as well as investments in several sectors including education sector.

The Union Minister and attendees discussed the sectors that can be cooperated with the Ministry and asked about they would like to know. China Rocket Co. Ltd is a subsidiary of China Aerospace and it is planning to broadcast TV services in Myanmar through the Direct to Home (DTH) system in cooperation with Myanmar national owned Borderless Broadcast Co. Ltd along with the Laos Asia-Pacific Satellite Co. Ltd and to arrange widely in the fields of applying Satellite TV and satellite in Myanmar.
