







President U Min Aung Hlaing met with the embassy staff and trainees at the Myanmar Embassy in Minsk on the evening of August 21, during his official visit in Belarus.
During the meeting, the President delivered guidance to the embassy staff and trainees. The President noted that Myanmar opened its embassy in Belarus as part of efforts to further strengthen diplomatic relations. He highlighted Belarus’ development in modern agriculture, livestock breeding, science and technology.
He said cooperation with Belarus could help Myanmar improve its agricultural, livestock and technology sectors. He also noted that Myanmar and Belarus are implementing a 2026–2028 roadmap to promote bilateral cooperation.
The President urged Myanmar embassy staff to work actively to strengthen cooperation between the two countries and called on Myanmar students and trainees in Belarus to study systematically and apply their knowledge for the benefit of the country.
He also encouraged the students to maintain good relations with people from other countries, uphold Myanmar’s image abroad, learn modern technologies and foreign languages. The President later presented foodstuff and cash rewards for the embassy and trainees.
