Meeting on Migration: Union Minister receives IOM Regional Director

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific of International Organization for Migration (IOM) Ms. Sarah Lou Ysmael Arriola on Monday.

During the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw, they shared their views on the matters pertaining to the support of the IOM to the people of Myanmar in the field of migration, the updates on progress of IOM current work programs in Myanmar and the cooperation between two sides.

Also present at the meeting were senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Dragan Aleksoski, IOM Chief of Mission for Myanmar and Mr. Chaoqian Xiong, Regional Migration Policy Support Officer.
