Meeting with Local Residents: SAC members met with local residents in Matman Tsp.

Members of State Administration Council U ShweKyein and U Yan Kyaw, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye, Wa Self-Administered Division Administration Council Chairman and Senior officials met with the Township Administration body, departmental officials, ethnic literature and culture members, Township elders, ward/Village administrators and local residents at Met Mann Township General Administration Department office in the morning on 17th September.

At the meeting, SAC members U Yan Kyaw and U Shwe Kyein extended words of greeting including cooperation of the people for the peace, stability and regional development, making effort for the agricultural development and youth education.  Then, the attendee local residents and administrators reported the requirements for the regional development and the Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye supplemented necessary matters.

Next, the SAC members, Chief Minister, Chairman of Wa Self-Administered Division provided foodstuffs and cash assistance for the departmental personnel and ethnic literature and culture committees and the responsible persons accepted. Next, the 10 Villages were provided with the Village Development Project fund and the Village administrators accepted.

Afterward, the presiding Sayadaw of Theravada Buddhist Missionary Pannadipa monastery in Metman Township was paid homage and offered offertories and cash donation. Next, they visited Metman Township People’s Hospital, comforted the local residents undertaking treatment at the hospital, provided foodstuffs and the cash assistance for the hospital and the responsible person of the hospital accepted.

Moreover, the SAC members observed the layer chicken demonstration farm, pig farm and Napier  grass plantation implemented with the Shan State Government fund in Metman Township.Next, the SAC members, Chief Minister, State Minister, Chairman of Wa Self-Administered Division Administration body and departmental officials also observed the chicken farm raised by the Border Guard Forces in Metman Township.
