Meeting with local residents: SAC member took inspection tour in Rakhine State

Member of State Administration Council Dr. Ba Shwe together with Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, State ministers and departmental officials took inspection tour to Maungtaw, Buthidaung and Rathedaung Townships by Tatmadaw helicopter, met with the local residents and inspected the rehabilitation works in Rathedaung Township in the morning on Friday.

First, the SAC member met with the district/Township level departmental officials, Township elders, ward/Village administrators and local residents at Sasana Beikman in Maungtaw Township.

At the meeting, SAC member stressed the need to strengthen genuine and disciplined multiparty democratic system and build a Union based on the democracy and federal system, to nurture the youth equipped with five strengths, to prevail peace, stability and rule of law in Rakhine State and cooperate for the development of the country.

Next, the attendees reported the requirements for the better agriculture, livestock breeding and road transportation and the Chief Minister replied to the discussions of the local residents.

Afterward, the SAC member and party inspected the fresh water fish hatchery camp, small scale demonstration fish breeding ponds, spreading of mixed fertilizer with Urea and Super Bokashi organic fertilizer and the fresh water fish farms near Kha Yay Myaing Village.

In the afternoon, the SAC member and party met with the Township level departmental officials, Township elders, local residents and representatives of civil society organizations at U Ottama Hall of Buthidaung Township.

At the meeting, the SAC member gave a remark and the attendees reported requirements of the regional development and the Chief minister replied to the discussions and cordially greeted them. Next, the SAC member and party viewed the agriculture and livestock breeding activities in the villages.

In Rathedaung Township, SAC member and party observed the thriving of GW-11 rice specie provided by the Union government, spreading of mixed fertilizer with Urea and Super Bokashi organic fertilizer and cordially greeted the farmers. 

SAC member and party paid homage to he Ceti Taung pagoda in Rathedaung Township, offered flower, water and candle lights to the pagoda and inspected repairing works of religious buildings at the precinct of the pagoda and offered cash donation for the all-round renovation of the pagoda.
