Meeting with local residents: SAC member met with local residents in Paletwa

A member of State Administration Council Dr. Hmu Htan together with Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Wong Hsum Htan, State Minister for security and border affairs, directors General, State level departmental officials met with the district and Township level departmental personnel, ward Administrators, townselders, business entrepreneurs at the Kimo Hall of the Paletwa Township General Administration Department at 11 AM on 12th September.

At the meeting, the SAC member said the peace and stability of the region is the main requirement, the government is implementing to strengthen the genuine and disciplined multiparty democracy system and to build the Union based on federal system, the Union spirit is paramount important, it’s needed the friendly co-existence among each other, as the Paletwa district is region with the good potentials for agriculture and livestock breeding, it will be sufficient of regional food security.

Next, Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Wong Hsum Htan clarified that the Paletwa district is the most populous district among the Chin State’s 6 districts, highest percentage of basic education schools opening in the State and an industrial, agricultural and livestock breeding high school can be opened successfully. People with higher education and knowledge is the basic foundation for socio-economic development of the region.

Then, the Paletwa district Administration Council acting Chair reported facts of the region and the requirements to be fulfilled for the development of the region and the townselders also submitted to provide the infrastructure development for the district. The SAC member replied to fulfill with the coordination of the Union level departments.

Next, the SAC member, Chief Minister, State Minister presented memorable gifts and the townselders accepted.
