Meeting with Local Residents: SAC member held meeting with local residents in Falam

Member of State Administration Council Dr. Hmu Htan together with Chin State Chief Minister Dr. Wong hsun Htan, State Minister for security and border affairs Col. Thein Tun Aung, members of Chin State Administration Council, directors General and Deputy Directors General from the Union Ministries met wit the District/Township level departmental officials and township elders at Falam Township of Chin State on 16th September.

First, the SAC member gave a remark saying the five point-roadmap and nine objectives, strengthening genuine and disciplined multiparty democracy system and building a Union based on the federal and democratic system, calling for putting efforts to expand the agriculture and livestock breeding and MSME development, addressing education, arrangement making to fill the vacancies of health personnel for the people of Chin State and the cooperation in the efforts for prevailing peace, stability, rule of law and holding free and fair multiparty General election.

The Chief Minister Dr. Wong Hsun Htan also gave a speech to implement the policies of the government under the leading of the departments and the implementation for the high rate of literacy. Then, the Township elders reported the requirements and the Directors General and deputy Director General replied to the respective sector.

Next, the Chin State Minister for security and border affairs and directors General from the Union Ministries gave remark each. Then, the SAC member Dr. Hmu Htan presented gifts to the Township elders, gave a speech of conclusion and cordially greeted the attendees to the meeting.
