Meeting with Local Community: SAC members tour in Mongsat Township

Members of the State Administration Council U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw, along with Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye and officials, visited Wa People’s Hospital in Wan Hai area of Mongsat Township on Tuesday. They comforted the patients and provided foodstuff and cash assistance.

In meeting with local Wa nationals in Township meeting hall, SAC member U Yan Kyaw emphasized the need to make cooperative efforts for achieving stability in the area for regional development. SAC member U Shwe Kyein also urged to strive for development of youths to be equipped with physical and mental strength.

A local reported on the needs of the region, and the Chief Minister provided the needs. The meeting ended with closing remarks by SAC member U Yan Kyaw. They later met with Wa nationals in Hopan Hoywet and made speeches. In response to the reports of local people, the Chief Minister explained the plans to fulfill the needs for region and health sector.
