Meeting at Lashio Station: SG meets officers, other ranks and family members

SAC Chair Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met officers, other ranks and their family members of the Lashio Station on Saturday afternoon.

In the meeting, the Senior General stressed that by laying down roadmap and objectives, the State Administration Council has been making efforts for development of the country.

Meanwhile, due to the sanctions against the country, high prices have occurred. The State Administration Council has improved the country’s economy to a certain extent despite the sanctions.

In order to re-hold the election, it is necessary to ensure that the voting lists are correct. Therefore, the Tatmadaw must assist in the successful collection of census. Tatmadawmen of the Lashio Station have to make efforts together with the public for socio-economic development and stability in the region.

Plans are underway to open an agricultural college in Lashio. The Senior General also the importance of good Tatmadawmen with discipline and physical and mental fitness.

For the welfare of the Station, he urged concerned officials to successfully carry out the Tatmadaw-owned and manageable agricultural and livestock activities.

And, the Senior General heard reports and fulfilled the requirements. There, the Senior General and wife provided foodstuffs and cash assistance. After the meeting, the Senior General visited the military hospital, comforted patients receiving treatment and provided gifts.
