







Vice Chairman of the State Admininstration Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win met with the officials, Tatmadawmen and family members of the Kalaw Station on 20th March.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Senior General made clarifications on Tatmadaw’s exerted efforts to safeguard the sovereignty of the nation.
Outlining the systematic development process of the nation, the Vice Senior General elaborated the paramount objective of the State Administration Council which is to successfully hold free and fair multiparty democratic general election. Therefore, the necessary preparations and arrangements are undertaking including the population and household census enumeration.
Once the free and fair multiparty democratic general election is successfully completed, a new government will be formed including the formation of the parliaments as well as the election for the president and appointment of the region and state chief ministers, entrusting the three pillars of the country to the newly formed government.
Aiming to safeguard the Our Three Main National Causes of the Union and to strengthen defence forces, people’s military service law was enacted in November 2010 and enforced on 10th February 2024. The People’s Military Servants Summoning Committees are formed systematically to conduct trainings and to select qualified trainees to assign duty.
The Vice Senior General stressed to ensure that every official and Tatmadawman is provided with the grants and benefits they are entitled to as well as the requisite welfare and personal needs.
After the meeting, foodstuff were presented to the officers, other ranks and families while cash awards were presented to the Maternal and Child Welfare Association.
Then, the Vice Senior General and oficials toured local battalion and inspected the livestock breeding and poultary farming. The Vice Senior General also visited Hnee Pagoda, offered flower, water, oil lamps and gold foils and donated offertories to the presiding sayadaw.
