Meeting With Families: Senior General visits Haigyi Kyun

Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited the Haigyi Kyun Station of Southwest Command on Friday. 

The Commandant of Local Naval Base reported on the work implementations, preparation for the election, agriculture and livestock works, and welfare activities. The Senior General emphasized for security consciousness, ensuring rule of law with systematic monitoring for illegal resource extraction, drug trafficking and illegal trespassing.

He also stressed for disaster preparation with systematic mitigation measures and implementation of agricultural and livestock breeding for welfare of the families and local community as well. The Senior General later met with military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of Haigyi Kyun Station  and urged all to participate in the general election, support education promotion works, contributing to the development of the region.

He also provided foodstuff for the military officer, Tatmadawmen and families. The Senior General later visited the Myat Maw Tin Pagoda and offered emerald bowl, flower, fruit and water. The Senior General then inspected the renovation works at the pagoda platform, and made cash donation for all-round renovation of the pagoda.
