Meeting with ethnic cultural leaders: Kachin State CM met with ethnic cultural leaders

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan met with the leaders of the Ethnic Literature and Culture Committees at the Ma Naw Mansion on 8th August for the cleaning, greening and fencing of the Ma Naw ground and 63 acres of Kachin National Garden in Sitapu Ward.   

First, the Chief Minister stressed for the preservation of Ma Naw Ground, one of the  prominent places of the State and coordinated requirements for the systematic fencing of Kachin National Garden.

Next, State Ministers for Natural Resources and Ethnic Affairs presented reports matters pertaining to the cooperative efforts of the Development Committeee in cleaning and greening of Ma Naw Ground and providing assistance for the development of ethnic nationals within state as per financial year. 

Then, Chairman of the Kachin National Tradition and Cutlure Association clarified the preservation of Ma Naw Ground, efforts to obtain tax free grant and the attendees presented reports on preservation activities of Ma Naw ground area.

Then, the Chief Minister and state ministers provided cash assistance to the literature and culture associations respectively. They also oversaw the collective cleaning tasks carried out at the Ma Naw Ground and coordinated requirements  on fencing and preservation tasks of the ground.
