Meeting with education officers: MoE UM met with the education officers

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe met with the university rectors, professors, and Regions and States education officers at the Meeting Hall of Office No. 13, Ministry of Education, Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

In his opening remarks, the Union Minister emphasized the need to ensure a peaceful environment for students across the country to take upcoming promotion and matriculation exams. He announced that over 40,000 primary school teachers will attend a four-month Education and Teaching Diploma quality enhancement training during the upcoming summer. He also instructed universities to avoid organizing events inconsistent with Myanmar's traditional culture.

For the next academic year, he urged collective efforts to ensure all school-aged children up to the middle school level (KG+9) are enrolled in classrooms. He called on all teachers to work diligently together for the development of the nation's education. Following this, Deputy Ministers Dr. Zaw Myint and U Nay Myo Hlaing delivered their respective addresses. The Union Minister concluded the meeting with closing remarks, it’s learnt.
