Meeting with Counterparts: SAC Chairman meets with Cambodian and Lao Prime Ministers

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing  on Wednesday met with the Prime Ministers who are going to attend the 8th Greater Mekong Sub-Region Summit and other summits in Kunming of China.

The Prime Minister held separate meetings with Cambodian Prime Minister Mr. Hun Manet and Laotian Prime Minister Mr. Sonexay Siphandone.

During the meetings, the Prime Minister discussed matters on promoting friendship and cooperation as well as Myanmar political development and current conditions, efforts for holding free and fair multiparty democracy general election, cooperation with the ASEAN member states and efforts for peaceful settlement on current incidents.

They also exchanged views on diplomatic relations and friendship, exchange of reciprocal visits, promoting collaboration in trade, investment, tourism, social and cultural fields.
