Meeting with Business Leaders : MOL Union Minister addresses labour disputes

Union Minister for Labour U Myint Naung held separate meetings with the Chairman, Executive Committee members of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, entrepreneurs from affiliated associations, and In-charges from the Industrial Zone Committees in Yangon Region on Thursday.

During these sessions, the Union Minister emphasized the ministry’s efforts in resolving labor disputes through Monitoring Groups, citing extensive coverage of such issues in local and international media, including the garment industry. He explained the necessity for negotiations among the trilateral efforts of government, employers, and employees to ensure the peace, stability, and economic development of the state, alongside fostering increased production.

Attendees shared their challenges encountered in their work undertakings, and the Union Minister coordinated their needs.
