






Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Defence Services (Army) Combat Forces School in Bahtoo on Friday to meet with the trainee officers.
In his speech, the Senior General clarified the political progress in the state, the Tatmadaw’s efforts for security and the perpetuation of sovereignty, as well as the democratization process. He also discussed the preparatory measures for holding a free and fair multiparty democratic general election, which include the implementation of a population and housing census, and efforts to ensure security, peace, and stability in the state.
The Senior General urged all to carry out their assigned duties with bravery and responsibility, equipped with mental and physical fitness and perseverance. He emphasized that correctly performing their daily routines is part of their training, as training, administration, welfare, and morale are all interconnected. After the meeting the Senior General cordially greeted the trainee officers.
On February 20th, the Senior General have a briefing on the military affairs in the Eastern Command at the Combat Forces School.
The Eastern Command Commander and Commandant of the Combat Forces School reported on the efforts for ensuring security and rule of law as well as the implementation for health, education and welfare activities, training process and agriculture and livestock breeding tasks.
The Senior General stressed the need to make long term plan for security matters through cooperation and coordination. He also instructed to eradicate the drug cases including manufacturing, storing, transporting and distribution, since it is a source for committing terrorist acts.
After the briefing, the Senior General and party took a tour around Bahtoo Station and viewed the swimming pool and conservation works at Bahtoo Springs.
