Meditation and Spiritual Practices: A visit of Indian Gurudev to Myanmar

Indian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a global humanitarian leader and peace envoy, is currently visiting Myanmar.

During his visit, the Gurudev met with entrepreneurs and businessmen at the Chatrium Hotel in Yangon to discuss about the inspirational leadership and inner peace.

The meeting began with the screening of a video highlighting the need for loving-kindness to promote global peace and the importance of maintaining a healthy body. This was followed by lectures on spiritual power, overcoming challenges spiritually, the benefits of meditation, and nurturing a peaceful mind to achieve a peaceful society.

The attendees also participated in a practical demonstration of meditation. In the afternoon, an event focused on knowledge and meditation took place at the National Theatre, where the Gurudev gave a lecture on Yoga practices, followed by a demonstration.

During this event, the Myanmar translation of the book “Celebrating Love” was introduced to the audience. The event also featured traditional dance performances from both India and Myanmar, as well as an honorary song by the Art of Living Charity Group. In the evening, the Gurudev visited the Shwedagon Pagoda, where he offered light, flowers, and water to the pagoda.
