Medicines, medical equipment provision: People’s hospitals in Lahe, Homalin townships inspected

Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win accompanying the SAC Chairman Prime Minister’s Sagaing Region tour together with officials visited Lahe Township People’s Hospital in Naga Self-Administered Zone on Monday and held meeting with heads of Region Public Health Department and health staffs.

Later, the Union Minister and party encouraged local people who are receiving medical treatment at the hospital and provided assistance. The Union Minister also provided medicines and medical equipment for the patients and cash assistance for the hospital staffs through concerned officials.

On arrival at the 100-bed People’s Hospital in Homalin, the Union Minister met officials and fulfilled the needs. He also presented medical equipment and cash assistance for hosptials in Leshi, Khamti and Homalin and commemorative gifts for Tatmadaw medical officers who are serving at the hospitals as volunteers.
