Medical Treatment: Patients Are Increasing At Fever Clinics In Mandalay

The patients who are receiving health care services at the fever clinics opened by Myanmar Medical Association (Mandalay) and COVID-19 Response Team are on the increase, it is learnt.

During April to July at the time of commencing COVID-19 outbreak in Myanmar, there were 356 patients who visited 3 fever clinics opened in Mandalay for the medical treatment and the number of referred patients to Mandalay General Hospital was 34 in the first wave.

Currently, the 2nd wave, there have been over 170 patients visiting to the fever clinics within 20 days from 7th to 26th September.

There are about 20 referred patients to Mandalay General Hospital and 2 positive patients, according to Myanmar Medical Association (Mandalay) and the Region COVID-19 Response Team.
