Media Sector: Union Minister urges media to report responsibly and accurately

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with staff from the News and Periodicals Enterprise (Yangon) at the Department of Printing and Publishing on Thein Phyu Road on Friday.

During the meeting, the Union Minister urged media personnel to report based on facts, free from errors, and in line with current events and state policies. He also noted that the Prime Minister values the role of print and media in keeping the public informed with accurate news. Officials reported on the current status of newspaper production and distribution.
