Media release photo of Trump shooting suspect

Some Western media outlets have released a photograph of the suspect in the shooting of former US President Donald Trump at a campaign rally.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has identified the suspect as Thomas Crooks, a 20-year-old man who lived in the eastern state of Pennsylvania. A photo obtained by Reuters is from a 2020 yearbook of the high school the suspect attended. Crooks is wearing glasses and a T-shirt in the photo.
