Media Relations: An interview with Russian News Agency ITAR-TASS

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe was interviewed by Mr. Igor Brovarnik, Bureau Chief in Thailand of the Russian News Agency ITAR-TASS at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 29 November.

During the interview, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs explained about the evolution of Myanmar foreign policy, Myanmar-Russia bilateral relations and cooperation, opportunities in cooperation with BRICS member states, Myanmar’s geopolitical vision in the modern world, exertion of all possible means to mitigate effects of unilateral sanctions imposed by western countries, Myanmar’s tourism sector, Myanmar’s effort for national reconciliation and challenges faced by Myanmar.
