Media Development Department: First anniversary celebrated in Nay Pyi Taw

The Media Development Department under the Ministry of Information marked its anniversary in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday with the presence of Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn.

The ceremony kicked off with the screening of a commemorative video clip. In his remarks, the Union Minister highlighted the department's establishment with the goal of supporting the nation's development and the growth of private media as the fourth pillar in Myanmar.

He encouraged everyone to work towards the advancement of Myanmar's media landscape and commended the achievements over the past year. Subsequently, a certificate of honor was awarded to the staff who excelled in training at the Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar). The event concluded with a lucky draw program in honor of the anniversary.
