Media Cooperation: MRTV DG meets Russia ITAR-TASS delegation

A meeting on promoting media cooperation between Myanmar and Russia took place in Yangon on Monday.

It was attended by a Russian delegation led by Deputy Director General of ITAR-TASS News Agency Mr. Mikhal Guzman, together with Director-General of Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) U Ye Naing and concerned officials.

They discussed matters on signing agreement for news exchange between the two countries, reciprocating media delegations, conducting training courses, exchange of arts and culture and assistance for the Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra.

The Russia delegation also extended invitation to visit the celebrations for 120th anniversary of ITAR-TASS News Agency to be held in coming September.
