Media Cooperation: Deputy Minister attends the China Media Group Forum

On 9th June, Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint visited Shapingba District Digitalized City Operation and Governance Center and Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park in Chongqing. They also attended the opening ceremony of 2026 Chongqing International Animation Film Week, held in Yongchuan District.

On the 10th, Myanmar delegation joined the opening ceremony of the 5th China Media Group Forum entitled “Uploading and Reshaping: The Media’s Mission in the Intelligent Era" at Yuzhou State Guest Hotel, together with about 300 relevant officials, international media experts and representatives.

The forum discussed enhancing media sector keeping up with technological changes and emergence of fairer, cleaner and more comprehensive media landscape in the intelligence era. During his stay in Chongqing, the Deputy Minister met with officials from CMG and cordially exchanged views on acceleration of cooperation between MRTV and CMG. Myanmar delegation arrived back in Yangon on Thursday afternoon.
