Measures for Youth Affairs : Shan State CM attends work coordination meeting

Chairman of Shan State Youth Affairs Committee the State Chief Minister U Aung Zaw Aye attended work coordination meeting (3/2023) of Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee and Shan State Youth Affairs Committee at the State Government Office in Taunggyi on Monday.

At the meeting, the State Chief Minister said that the guidance and decisions were adopted to carry out the tasks including 16 work programs of youth sector by respective committees to have mental and physical strength of the youths in Shan State.

He stressed on formation of district and township youth affairs committees in remaining self-administered Zones/Division and townships, collaborating among the committee members in implementing the action plans and submitting the discussions and decisions of the meeting to the Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee.

Later, Secretary of Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs discussed the work programs to be implemented by regions and states for the development of youth sector and the Vice Chairman of Shan State Youth Affairs Committee the State Minister for Social Affairs reported on formation of the state youth affair committees and measures for all-round development of the youths.

Afterwards, members of Shan State Youth Affairs Committee made general round of discussions on which the State Chief Minister supplemented on the reports. And then, the State Chief Minister provided cash assistance to the Secretary of Myanmar Youth Affairs Central Committee Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs U Zin Min Htet.
