Measures for MSMEs development: SAC member makes a field trip to Bhamo

Member of the State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu who is currently in Kachin State to implement the tasks in accordance with 5-Point Road Map and 9 objectives of the SAC together with Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan conducted a field trip for MSME development in Bhamo on Monday.

First, the SAC member, the State Chief Minister and officials inspected operation of 20-ton oil mill at the Nay Min Oil Mill and Bhamo Purified Penut Oil Trading in Bhamo and asked about getting raw materials, production of 500 visses per day, the needs and difficulties and coordinated essentials.

Later, the SAC member and the State Chief Minister inspected production of jams and wines with Quince that is the local product of Bhamo and provided assistance for boosting production as a high quality volume-added product. They then looked into operation of 60-ton rice mill and paddy husk dryer machine at the Sein Thone Lone rice mill in Bhamo and asked about milling rice per day, getting raw materials, sale of finished rice products and seeking markets and fulfilled the needs and then looked into laying a new concrete road at the entrance to Technological University.

From there, they inspected preparations for operating Sein Thara Phuu rice mill and said that Bhamo will be a region that can progress within a short period as it can make transportation by land and water routes and by air and perform border trades with China. The SAC member coordinated essentials on technical assistance for production of high quality products, providing technology and equipment.
