






Chairman of e-ID System Working Committee Union Minister U Myint Kyaing together with Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and officials visited Pyigyi Tagun Township staff officer office in Mandalay region on 4th July to inspect keeping statistical records that were collected by making field trips in the township, computerizing the lists, scrutinizing the facts with that from e-ID server in Nay Pyi Taw (Head-office) and systematic keeping of issuing national registration cards and officials reported on progress of works.
Later, the Union Minister gave instructions to keep the personal data of an individual and to accurately verify it and fulfilled the needs. The Union Minister and the Region Chief Minister then observed collecting Biographic and Biometric data to the staff and families of Advocate General Office and families for e-ID system and coordinated the needs on the reports of officials. In the e-ID system, the National ID Smart Card will be issued in accordance with the law to give an effective service to the public upon completion of issuing the Unique ID including 10 digits.
Afterwards, the Union Minister held meeting with region, district and township staff officers and staffs at the old Hluttaw building of Mandalay Region Government and clarified verifying the facts that are collected across the nation and putting in the server, collecting Biographic and Biometric data, drafting mapping by using GIS for collecting 2024 nationwide census and collecting the points to form the Census Units.
He also stressed the needs on completion of the tasks within the target time and called for accurate data to be able to collect the correct voter lists for holding a free and fair General Election. Measures will be undertaken for all citizens who have the right to vote to be able hold some kind of card through Pankhin project. Later, officials reported on the requirements on which the Union Minister fulfilled the needs.
