Matriculation Exams: Workshop for achieving higher passing rate

A workshop on achieving higher passing rate in 2022-2023 matriculation exams was held in Lashio on Saturday.

Chief Minister Dr Kyaw Tun discussed that the matriculation exams for 2022 was held at 26 exam centers in 17 townships of Shan State (North).

And around 6,000 students sat for the exams and over 2,500 have passed which is over 43% of all exam takers.

He urged to maintain the best result of passing rate in this year as well. 8 million kyats cash assistance were provided for the workshop, and 1 million kyat for the professors and teachers.

Over 900 teachers are taking part in the workshop that will be held at 8 different places from 27th to 28th August.
